DayPilot Pro 5.6 SP1

Release date: June 22, 2009

Bug fixes

DayPilot Scheduler

  • EventClick produced a JavaScript error ("ClickEnabled is null or not an object" in IE) when EventDoubleClickHandling was set to "Disabled".
  • Some special characters where causing "A potentially dangerous Request.Form value ..." error when used in Resource.Name property. Characters like Ñ (Ntilde) were unnecessarily encoded using number encoding (&#209).

DayPilot Calendar

  • EventSelect CallBack produced a server-side exception

Improvements

DayPilot Bubble

  • Full event details are sent with each Bubble request (it used to be only the Value field).

Demo

  • The ASP.NET AJAX Extensions Library reference was removed from Web.config (<add assembly="System.Web.Extensions, Version=1.0.61025.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31BF3856AD364E35"/>). This reference was causing problems on computers without ASP.NET AJAX Extensions installed.

DayPilot Pro is an advanced DayPilot edition. You can check a thumbnail overview of the most interesting features. There is also an online demo with all the features working (including the AJAX features). If you want to test the design-time support and API you can download a fully functional trial version. And if you like it, you can buy a full version with source code and 12 months of upgrades and support (with a 30-days money back guarantee).

DayPilot Lite is a do-it-yourself open-source edition of DayPilot. Although it misses some DayPilot Pro features, there are thousands of developers using it to build calendar, personal scheduling, and resource booking applications.
